Now that the holiday weekend is over, fireworks have been “oohh’d” and “aawwee’d”, BBQ grills are cooling off and stored for another week…it’s back to business.  What’s happening in the world of real estate today, July 6, 2010:

In The Woodlands there are 25 new listings on broker open house tour today and Coldwell Banker United, Realtors has nearly 50% of them (actually 12 houses and 48%).  Go CBUR!!  Going on tour is always a great time to go out and preview the new inventory on the market, evaluate how other properties compare to your listings, seek out listings that your clients would be well suited for, and network with other brokers in the market.  This is something I look forward to as it keeps me in tune with the market and on top of my game.

Also coming up this Sunday, July 11th Coldwell Banker United, Realtors of The Woodlands is also hosting our annual monthly open house event. We do this on the 1st Sunday of every month to promote our listings to the market place.  It’s always successful and “yes” houses do sell as a result of open houses.

A spin off series from last year’s Summer Nights, Waterway Lights program, this series will include a variety of live entertainers, such as caricaturists, live animals, artists, face painters, magicians, live music, jugglers, balloon artists and more! Come out and enjoy the beautiful fountain at Waterway Square Friday evenings with a date, coworkers, friends, family, or the kids! Picnics, chairs, blankets and coolers welcomed.   FREE!
